the only way to remove password is that way

password is not stored on bios
its on MEC

there is no other way

i think you need to program MEC carefully

i erased the chip first laptop not power on after i programmed ec with new file
laptop works but password .so mec programming is perfectly done

u need to move resistor to enable jtag
read mec1663 your backup size must be 296 Ko
